Grant Description
Cooperative agreements to USA and territories nonprofit and for-profit organizations, agencies, IHEs, and tribal organizations to address internet crimes against children. Applicants are advised that required registrations must be completed prior to submitting an application. The goal of this program is to increase the technological investigative capacity and associated training of law enforcement, prosecutors, and other professionals nationwide to combat child sexual abuse material and online child sexual exploitation, including cases of child sex trafficking.

OJP is committed to advancing work that promotes civil rights and racial equity, increases access to justice, supports crime victims and individuals impacted by the justice system, strengthens community safety and protects the public from crime and evolving threats, and builds trust between law enforcement and the community.

This solicitation provides funding for applicant organizations to increase the technological investigative capacity of Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task forces and their affiliates as well as related state, tribal, and local law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies through training and the development and/or enhancement of widely used investigative tools, methods, and technologies that address child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and online child exploitation.

There are three categories of funding under this solicitation:

  • Category 1: Investigative Tool and Technology Development
  • Category 2: Investigative Tool and Technology Enhancement
  • Category 3: Investigative Tool and Technology Training

For more information on the above categories, see https://ojjdp.ojp.gov/sites/g/files/xyckuh176/files/media/document/O-OJJDP-2023-171657.pdf#page=9

For program objectives and deliverables, see https://ojjdp.ojp.gov/sites/g/files/xyckuh176/files/media/document/O-OJJDP-2023-171657.pdf#page=10
