Grants of up to $25,000 to Washington, DC nonprofit organizations, private enterprises, and faith-based organizations to advance the District's urban farms and increase access to local produce. Funding priority will be given to farmers in socially disadvantaged populations. This grant aims to advance sustainable urban agriculture and farming operations.
The purpose of these grants is to build the capacity of established and new District farms through infrastructure improvements and advance sustainable urban agriculture in order to:
